About this product
The dark weave border on the magnificent Kyra rug frames the central diamond panes and fuses the entire design down to the delicate end fringing. Durable natural fibres are constructed in the time honoured way, using hand powered looms to create a cohesive display. The muted tones blend beautifully and present a tapestry that would look equally as stunning as a wall hanging in a large reception area.
Rug pictured is 120 x 180cm.

From humble beginnings in Lawan Village, Rajasthan, the business has grown to provide carpet making work for rural workers in Jaipur premises. The owner was initially supported by his Father to buy looms and materials. A modest farmer, he borrowed 300 INR and sold his Ox for his son’s dream. Since 1980, the small holding has developed into a successful enterprise with 40 looms and a loyal workforce. Achievements acknowledged by a National Merit Certificate Award in 2013.
