A vibrant tiger print kantha throw in bright orange and pink stripes covered with contrasting striped tigers. Hand printed and crafted with a traditional Indian kantha running stitch, the rich, exuberant design is stylish and glamourous. A matching square cushion cover is available.

Supplier Information
Produced by a small family business specialising in textiles. The business is run by a husband and wife team who also subcontract to disadvantaged groups within their community. We have been working with them for over 10 years. They also support local charitable organisations and community based projects.
Extra Information
The hand crafted nature of this range means every piece is unique. Slight variations are exclusive characteristics, reflecting Artisan creativity using traditional techniques. This throw is a beautiful combination of the skilled ancient arts of hand screen printing and Kantha embroidery. Hand screen printing is a highly skilled practice producing vibrant designs using a frame, stencils and pigmented colour. A highly work-intensive Indian heritage craft, whereby patterns must be allowed to dry completely before attempting the next, building a distinctive, bright fabric.
