About this product

A multi functional wash bag useful for storing and carrying toiletries, cosmetics, nail and hair care. The beautiful hand screen printed bird of paradise cotton comes in white and yellow varieties and is finished in quilted stitching and a neutral waterproof interior lining. A gold coloured zip has a fabric pull tag for easy access and a handy hanging hook is fitted. The design is completed by tidy piped edging. A matching eye mask, dressing gown and pyjamas are also available.

Produced by a small family business specialising in textiles. The business is run by a husband and wife team who also subcontract to disadvantaged groups within their community. We have been working with them for over 10 years. They also support local charitable organisations and community based projects.

The hand crafted nature of this range makes it truly unique. Slight variations are exclusive characteristics, reflecting Artisan creativity using traditional techniques. Hand screen printing is a highly skilled practice producing vibrant designs using a frame, stencils and pigmented colour. A highly work-intensive Indian heritage craft, whereby patterns must be allowed to dry completely before attempting the next, building a distinctive, bright fabric.
