About this product

Hand painted by artisans in Kolkata on a Fair Trade basis. A hard, protective glasses case any specs wearer will be glad to own. Hand painted in colour coordinated florals and conveniently sealed with a stud fastening. Fabric lined, most glasses will fit comfortably. A high quality, hand crafted accessory belonging to a matching range of leather goods, including a wallet purse, zipped coin purses and a multi-purpose pencil case. Supplier Information
Made for Namaste on a fair trade basis by a small family firm in Kolkata. The business employs 25 workers, 20 in the main workshop and 15 home workers who find the work a useful supplement to income, while allowing them to attend to the needs of their families. The home workers are mainly ladies who carry out the hand painting work. This arrangement enables the artisans to become more self-sufficient and independent.
