About this product

Go bold. The vibrant triangular geometric pattern on this Aztec multi-diamond rug makes for a magnificently eye-catching textile. Hand loomed using traditional techniques the high wool content allows vibrancy and depth of colour and also allows greater detail to be incorporated into the design as this kilim rug so beautifully displays.

Made by a GoodWeave accredited supplier, giving the best assurance that no child labour was used in the making of this product. Namaste and our suppliers both contribute a % of the value of the rugs/furnishings purchased to GoodWeave which then goes back into the communities where they are made!

Supplier Information
Our supplier is a long term member of GoodWeave, ensuring no child labour is employed in the entire supply chain. The company specialises in hand loom rugs, many of which are made from recycled sources. They provide the skilled weavers, many of whom are women, with well-paid work and much of the weaving is carried out in the weavers own homes. This allows them to earn money by working hours around other roles such as supporting a family or agricultural work. They provide the raw materials to the weavers and the training required, helping to develop and sustain the local economy.The business provides valued employment to 15 people directly and a further 40 on a self-employed piecework basis. Direct employees benefit from paid holidays, sick pay and subsidised medical care.
