Fair Trade Incense Namaste is the official exclusive importer for Auroshikha Incense in the UK Auroshikha is a part of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram situated in Pondicherry, India. Long established hand rolled incense makers supporting an ashram's charitable activities since 1973. They started producing incense all those years ago in order to provide employment opportunities to local villages and to start a school. Today the school provides free education with extracurricular activities to more than 300 children. They have excellent working conditions, no child labour, social security and pension benefits for all workers. They focus on providing employment for women, with work provided at home to facilitate earning money while looking after the home and family.

All products are in compliance with the guidelines of IFRA (International Fragrance Association, Geneva, Switzerland).
