This beautiful hand made paper is made from lokta which is an environmentally friendly and fast growing native plant of the Himalayas.

All dyes used are natural and there is no acid or harmful chemicals used in the production. Despite its beauty and tourist revenue, Nepal remains as one of the poorest and least developed countries and has a very high unemployment rate. We love Nepal and its amazing happy and resilient people and it is still perhaps our favourite destination on buying visits. This year we have really stepped up our investment in Nepalese products and we are proud to help this wonderful country by providing much needed employment.
