Slubweave has an intentionally uneven weave. Natural cotton fibres produce tactility through an 'imperfect' surface of knobbles and bobbles, while twisty, knotted yarns add a distinct rustic charm. The jute element reinforces the rug structure, improving wear, resilience and appearance. Neutral bands contrast beautifully, lifting the stripes dimensionally in all directions. Relatively plain but far from dull, this kind of rug finish has a contemporary feel and creates an impression of natural earthiness. Surprisingly soft, the striped pattern will broaden perceived dimensions in narrow situations. A highlighting offwhite scheme enhances the overall effect, completed by fawn fringing sweeping gently along the two ends.
