About this product

A colourful and cheerful rug to brighten any room. Made by hand from recycled cotton and eco-friendly jute, this sustainable and environmentally friendly rug has been skilfully braided (plaited)  by hand by home workers in villages in Rajasthan, India.

Made by a GoodWeave accredited supplier, giving the best assurance that no child labour was used in the making of this product. Namaste and our suppliers both contribute a % of the value of the rugs/furnishings purchased to GoodWeave which then goes back into the communities where they are made!

Made for Namaste by one of our very long term Indian artisan suppliers. A long established family business, with a flexible approach, it provides employment to over 120 workers. Around 100 have selected the option of home working to suit other personal commitments. The product focus is making useful, creative items from recycled and environmentally friendly resources.
