About this product

Timeless hand screen printed hippy-trail print. These are made for Namaste by our first ever supplier. One of the owners, a man called Ganpat suggested the idea of Namaste to founder Sam Brummitt while Sam was touring India on a motorbike in 1996! We have been working with them ever since and have watched in admiration as they have grown and become a very successful business.

From our oldest supplier who Namaste started business with in 1997. They are a member of the Fair Trade Forum India, which is the Indian national member of the WFTO. They provide a route to market for products produced by artisans from all over Rajasthan. Artisan producers usually do not have the experience, knowledge or resources to find international buyers and this is where our supplier steps in and provides vital marketing for these producer groups. The business also supports charitable and community based projects.
