Made by a GoodWeave accredited supplier, giving the best assurance that no child labour was used in the making of this product. Namaste and our suppliers both contribute a % of the value of the rugs/furnishings purchased to GoodWeave which then goes back into the communities where they are made!

From our oldest supplier who Namaste started business with in 1997. They are a member of the Fair Trade Forum India, which is the Indian national member of the WFTO. They provide a route to market for products produced by artisans from all over Rajasthan. Artisan producers usually do not have the experience, knowledge or resources to find international buyers and this is where our supplier steps in and provides vital marketing for these producer groups. The business also supports charitable and community based projects.
