Made from naturally breathable machine washable cotton, this elegant floral robe is accented with subtle piped detailing across the design.

Produced by a small family business specialising in textiles. The business is run by a husband and wife team who also subcontract to disadvantaged groups within their community. We have been working with them for over 15 years. They also support local charitable organisations and community based projects.

Hand block printing is a highly work-intensive Indian heritage craft. Individual patterns skilfully carved into wooden blocks are used to apply natural dyes or paint precisely to the surface. Layers of detail, colour and texture develop into a distinctive textile achieved by intense personal attention. Slight variations are exclusive characteristics of authentic artisan goods.
