Our supplier is a long established business that specialises in hand painted Kashmiri Crafts. Traditional crafts are very important to the economy of Kashmir, a region that has many challenges and our supplier provides valued employment to 500 people. The artisan painters benefit from good wages and are able to work at home which enables them to look after family commitments around work. Wages paid are at least equal to government regulations and workers receive good additional benefits. The business also funds the education of multiple families of their workers.
