About this product

This recycled aluminium tealight holder/pot in rich shades of copper, green and gold is wonderfully contemporary, with the deep enamelling applied by hand resulting in a beautifully understated elegance. The enamel has been applied over a foiled aluminium base which gives this item a wonderful handmade appeal.

Supplier Information
Our supplier in Northern India was established in 1992 and has grown to be one of the larger enterprises that Namaste now trades with. Two brothers manage a family business with a total combined workforce of over 150, many of whom are skilled artisans. Over 100 of these employees are permanent workers with job security. The artisans and other workers involved in Namaste production earn a fair wage which is at least equal to or above prevailing local rates. Men and women earn the same pay for the same job; sick pay is provided plus paid holidays and time off for festivals - an important part of life in India! We hope that by placing regular orders and building our business together, Namaste is contributing to much needed employment and income for the local community.
Extra Information
Wherever possible we choose to re-use and recycle. Recycled aluminium saves up to 90% carbon emissions compared to the production of new aluminium from bauxite - it also reduces landfill waste!
