Hand loomed using traditional techniques, the high wool content allows vibrancy, depth of colour and greater detail to be incorporated into the design of this kilim cushion cover. The reverse contrasts in plain cotton fabric with a concealed zip fastening. Please note the inner is sold separately.

Our supplier is a long term member of GoodWeave, ensuring no child labour is employed in the entire supply chain. The company specialises in hand loom rugs, many of which are made from recycled sources. They provide the skilled weavers, many of whom are women, with well-paid work and much of the weaving is carried out in the weavers own homes. This allows them to earn money by working hours around other roles such as supporting a family or agricultural work. They provide the raw materials to the weavers and the training required, helping to develop and sustain the local economy.The business provides valued employment to 15 people directly and a further 40 on a self-employed piecework basis. Direct employees benefit from paid holidays, sick pay and subsidised medical care.
