for a Customer Sales Representative to join our friendly Sales Team in Skipton, North Yorkshire..
Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads by research into potential customers.
Make out going customer calls or cold calls to sell Namaste products.
Develop business with key customers to increase turnover & the range of products bought.
Promote the company’s strengths & range of products.
Perform an analysis of existing customers to meet their needs. What the customer buys & sells, the nature of the business, competitor products, potential Namaste lines.
Identify possible new target markets and penetrate them to drive sales.
Recommend products based on a good knowledge of the customer & business.
Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of new, existing & bestselling lines and share this with customers.
Ensure information relating to customer accounts is recorded accurately and kept up to date.
Support the company in growth and maintaining its customer base.
Report any problems & stock discrepancies to your Manager.
Raise a claim with parcel carrier companies for any delays & damages to parcels. Report claims to the accounts dept.
Report product quality issues to the Buying dept & Inventory Manager.
Guide customers, retail and wholesale in the showroom to new products and other products they may be interested in to achieve maximum sales.
Liaise with Warehouse Team of specifics of an order.
Handle product returns, replacements & credit notes effectively, in line with the Company Returns Policy
Participate in Trade Shows/ Open Weeks/ Christmas Openings

Knowledge & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Customer Sales Representative
Knowledge of SAGE
Experience in delivery of excellent customer service
Thorough knowledge & understanding of the product ranges
Good standard of English & Maths
