Welcome to the Namaste website. Founded in 1996, we now have one of the best and most comprehensive selections of fair trade products in Europe. Based in Skipton, North Yorkshire, we travel to the most far-reaching parts of the world to bring back original and inspirational goods. We love supporting traditional communities by making use of the craft skills that are so important to the livelihood of producers in developing markets. Our colourful and unique products feature intricate embroidery, patchwork, incredible tie dye techniques, hand weaving, carving and painting. Our own designers work with these amazing craftspeople to bring about a fusion of designs and cultures- age old skills making brilliant products with a contemporary twist. We've got a huge range of ethnic clothing to bring out your inner hippy (including the ubiquitous grandad shirt!) and high street style designs (with our own unique touch), beaded and sterling silver jewellery, beautiful gifts and crafts, soft furnishings to suit every home, contemporary styled Indian sheesham wood furniture and white teak tree root furniture for that eclectic look. We also do Indian kids furnishings made from recycled and end cuts of fabric- recycled and fair trade! Retailers - to see wholesale prices please log in using the button on the left.
